The Perez Family Photo Session

The Perez family was the second family session I photographed on Black Friday. I know they wanted a Fall/Winter color theme for the pictures, so I suggested a farm park in Fremont where they have beautiful trees and animals that can keep the kids entertained.

There were many chickens, turkeys, and peacocks running around in the farm. And sometimes they like to run into people, especially where there is food. Here is my favorite out-take photo of the session where the chicken was following us (probably for the snack that they were holding), and then the whole family just turned away from the camera and looked at the chicken underneath the bench. The most funniest part was after that a bird from the tree suddenly pooped on my client’s shoulder and the chicken started to attack us for the food. It was a chaos… ha ha!

The Tams Family Photo Session

This year Thanksgiving was a busy holiday for me. I gave up my Black Friday shopping (good for my wallet) to work on two family photo sessions. The Tam family was one of the family sessions. I’ve known them for years and they’ve always been my good friends. But we never have enough time to hang out ‘cos they have been moving and traveling in the past few years. I was very excited and happy to take their family photos and to meet their two little kids. These two kids love playing outdoor and they love to smile! They are very polite, well-behaved, and so adorable that just warm my heart.

There is so much love in this family and it touches me! I am blessed to have such a lovely family to be my friends and clients. I look forward to working with them again on their maternity session. And thank you so much for the delicious sushi!!!

Baby Caiden Photo Session

It was pouring rain on the day of the photo shoot, but luckily it didn’t affect my day working with baby Caiden. This little handsome guy is so adorable! When he looked at me with his big round eyes or drooled when he smiled, my heart just melt that almost made me forgot to press the shutter.

He is only 3-months old and still cannot crawl or sit by himself yet. When we put him on the sofa with cushions besides him, he falls to the side in seconds. Ha ha! He loves to be placed on his tummy, but only for a few minutes. Then he will mumble some baby words to tell you to lift him up. We also put him on a big down comforter and I photographed him from above. After an hour, baby Caiden began to show his tiredness. It was absolutely the day he had the most action and it’s time for a sweet long nap!

The Hoglan Family Photo Session

I enjoy working with the Hoglan family very much. They are super friendly, easy-going, and photogenic. Their pretty daughter, little J, was shy at first, but after I spent some “warm up” time with her, I was able to take some photos of her beautiful smile. We photographed at a local park, then we snuck into a winery for some more pictures. It was a fun day out for us and I look forward to working with them again.
